Jeanne Caroline, MEd

Assistant Professor of Practice

Jeanne (pronounced genie) is our Pecan (kindergarten) Master Teacher. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Business and a master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction (with an emphasis in Early Childhood) from New Mexico State University. She is a certified educator, and worked in AISD for the 13 years teaching kindergarten, first, and second grades. Jeanne has additional training and expertise in language and literacy, project-based learning, differentiating instruction for diverse learners, and leadership.

Jeanne has valuable experience teaching and supervising adults too. For many years, she has mentored UTeach and ACC students placed in her classroom. She has also served as the kindergarten team leader on two campuses and as a teacher trainer at both the campus and district levels. Jeanne is recognized among colleagues as a distinguished early childhood educator and teacher-leader. Jeanne is a passionate educator who enjoys inspiring others and engaging students (of all ages) in creative and meaningful projects.
